Why STRIDE?

STRIDE was intentionally built as a modern, premium, practice to give your family a rare and valuable commodity in medicine: unhurried time, objective clarity, and absolute focus.

Our clinical philosophy unifies advanced diagnostics with personalized movement, sleep, and lifestyle architecture. Because our virtual practice operates on this intensive, root-cause methodology, we don't try to be everything to everyone. We focus exclusively on families who are ready to move beyond conventional, medication-only models and step into a true, high-touch clinical partnership.

A Custom Fit for STRIDE looks like:

  • Proactive, Whole-Picture Mindsets: Parents seeking a lifestyle-minded clinical ally for their child or teen, and young adults navigating complex transitions who value long-term wellness over short-term symptoms.

  • Active Lifestyle Collaboration: Individuals who are genuinely invested in exploring the deep connection between sleep architecture, daily movement, physical wellness, and brain health through our dedicated assessments.

  • Families Seeking Diagnostic Answers: Those looking for highly detailed, second-opinion clarity and objective psychometric tracking after conventional, medication-only treatments have fallen short.

Alternative Care Frameworks (Where We Are Not Aligned):

  • Medication-Only Care: We do not offer isolated, brief "medication checks." Medical management at STRIDE is always tightly woven into an active lifestyle and physical activity framework.

  • Passive Treatment Models: Our methodology requires active engagement. If a family is unable or hesitant to incorporate lifestyle modifications and physical activity interventions, a traditional psychiatric model may be more appropriate.

  • High-Acuity or Immediate Crisis Stabilization: As a 100% virtual practice, we do not have the infrastructure to support acute psychiatric crises that require intensive outpatient programs (IOP) or immediate, in-person, 24/7 emergency stabilization.

  • Out-of-Region Care: Due to licensing constraints and our focus on regional community collaboration, our practice exclusively serves youth and young adults up to the age of 30 residing within the state of Alaska.
